CATFIGHT! Hillary Clinton to Michelle Obama - “Go clear the tables if you’re bored”

(NNC) - Campaigners got a better show than expected at a Democratic luncheon earlier today when Michelle Obama and Hillary Clinton got engaged in a heated debate that ended when Ms. Obama delivered a sharp slap to the presidential hopeful before being escorted away by her bodyguard.

The debate was instigated after Michelle had consumed multiple alcohol beverages and appeared to be significantly intoxicated. She approached Ms. Clinton and reportedly insulted her by casually saying “It’s quite ambitious to try for the White House when you can hardly keep your own home together.”

Ms. Clinton remained calm and smiled before replying “I’m sorry Michelle, but I’d actually prefer to keep this gathering classy. If you’re bored I’m sure there’s plenty of tables that you can clear.” It is believed that the comment was referring to Ms. Obama’s African-American heritage.

However, the altercation got personal when Michelle continued, saying “Actually, I figured you’d be a good person to ask: what should I get my husband when he wins the election? Would a box of cigars be proper or is that just something Bill enjoys to have around?” The comment referred to the Monica Lewinsky scandal that plagued former president Bill Clinton’s last years as president.

But the Senator remained smiling and controversially retorted “No, I’m sure that a pack of Newports and an Olde English will suffice.” Newport cigarettes and Olde English beer represent common stereotypes that burden modern day African Americans. It was this comment that provoked Michelle to actually slap the Senator. Before Ms. Clinton could respond, the two women were separated by their personal bodyguards.

The altercation between the two women represented just another example of how heated the race to win the presidential bid has become. A spokesperson for Senator Clinton denounced the argument as a “friendly spat” between two “very important, respected ladies.”

Senator Obama has yet to address the incident.
