AN EXTREMIST CHRISTIAN COUPLES ATTEMPTS TO ENROLL ABORTED FETUS IN DAYCARE

Brighton, CO (GBC) - In what has become one of the most disturbing political “messages” in modern history, a Colorado Christian couple attempted to enroll an aborted fetus in child day care.

The couple, Mr. and Mrs. Dayton, have always been staunch and active anti-abortionists and have even sympathized with homicidal anti-abortion activism. But nobody could have expected the extent of their ideology until they showed up at the Morning Glory Day Care center with a fully-dressed aborted fetus.

The fetus was dressed up in pink infant clothing, complete with shoes, socks, a hat and even a bib. When the day care worker went to take the fetus, she said it took her a moment to realize that she was indeed holding a long-since dead fetus.

“I remember just staring at it and thinking that there must be something severely wrong with the baby… but then it hit me like a brick and I just dropped it and yelled,” said Susy Parker, a worker at the day care.

When other workers ran over to investigate the commotion, the Dayton couple hurriedly picked up the fetus and fled in their car. But Ms. Parker had all of their information and when she informed the police, the Daytons were arrested a half hour later.

The Daytons have claimed that they were trying to make a political statement. “Had this poor child not have been aborted, the baby would be living a full, healthy, wonderful life,” said Margaret Dayton. “We just wanted to give the fetus the life it deserved.”

Immediately after being detained by police, the church that the Daytons regularly attend began to promote the Dayton couple as martyrs.

Father Bigsby expressed his support by saying “An unborn life is still a life. An unborn child is still a child. And children should go to school, be fed, and have a bed to sleep on. That’s what the Dayton’s were trying to accomplish.”

When asked how the Dayton’s got hold of the fetus, they said it had been their own child aborted 6 months prior because of fears the child would turn out mentally retarded.

The Dayton’s face up to 4 years in prison.
